Hi! There have been lots of new stamp sets that are coming out with multi-step stamping features. Some of my favorite multi-step stamps are from Altenew, Hero Arts, Simon Says Stamp, and Wplus9. …
Hello! Today I am joining the amazing the Sparkle & Shine Challenge them for our 2nd challenge of the month! …
Hello! I am excited to share couple things with you today – First, I was a part of the Iron Craft Season 2 Finale with a few of other awesome crafters! Check out the video below to see the whole episode: grab a cup of coco or coffee and enjoy!
For this LIVE interview, we got to share a project created using the Trick or Treat Stamp Set from Simon Says Stamp. I focused on the greeting and few of the small images from the set to give you more verity ideas. Here are close up pictures of the card:
Thanks for stopping by! Hope you’ve enjoyed the interview video 🙂
Happy Monday! Hope you all had an awesome weekend. It has been way to crazy for me as we are in the middle of selling our home and getting ready to move. I will share couple of videos in the course of this week and next week, but please bare with me as I may be a bit quiet (as I have been for the past couple weeks) on my blog. Once I get settled into my new studio, I will be back to my normal schedule and share more videos with you! Are you following me on Facebook and Instagram? If you don’t make sure you do – I am going to do some small giveaways throughout this month as I say goodbye to some of my crafting goodies. Going through products that I haven’t used for a while and finding them a new home is something I like to do regularly. I will also post pictures as I pack up my crafting studio, setting up in a new office space and re-organizing them on my Facebook and Instagram. Alright, enough chit-chat. Let’s get to the project I am sharing today! I’ve been wanting to experiment with gesso and incorporate it to a card. So for today’s video, I am doing exactly that. You can use any gesso you have on hand, this is super easy and “no-mass” technique you will love.
I also got to play with some of the new stamps sets I got last month – Friendly Flower from Simon Says Stamp and Sentiment & Quotes from Altenew. Check out the video above to see how I achieve this vibrant, lovely look on the card. Hope your Monday has been great! I will be back on Friday with another video tutorial to share with you. Happy Stamping!!
Sometimes we need to cheer up the loved ones when they are down or having a hard time. Sending them a thinking of you card does a great job to let them know we are here for them when they need us. I got to re-visit the Camera Finishers Die Set from Top Dog Dies for today’s card. Each element on this die set is so unique and versatile, you can pretty much use them on multiple cards over and over.
I wanted to pop out the Polaroid frame die with a heart inside as a main point of the card. While keeping the rest of the card clean, I did a “cluster” look for the main part of the card. I like to use this technique since it helps to grab attention when looking at the card. This is my go-to technique when creating a simple, clean card.
To create a background to pop out the Camera Finishers Die, I used a portion of a stencil and added a bit of embossing paste. This gives a subtle dimension and creates a wonderful base for the background.
For the whole card, I decided to go with a pastel tone color scheme. I love how mint, coral, and green-blue color work well together. I use the Camera Finishers Die on 3 different cardstock to create color-coordinating elements. The Polaroid frame is adhered right onto the embossing paste background while those cute hearts were attached using some foam tape for extra dimensions.
I added a bit of Glossy Accent on the hearts for more interest and attached a silver sequin for extra cuteness! Also, small white sequins and big clear sequins are added to bring more attention to the focal point. To decorate the Polaroid frame, I tied a bow with a backers twine and attached using a strong Multi-Medium Matt adhesive.
This card is bound to cheer up a person receiving it – Take out your Camera Finishers Die Set today and create something fun to make your loved ones happy!
