**VIDEO** Card Kits Comparison

Hi! I wanted to get this posting up sooner but due to me being sick it is posted a bit later than I planned. Today I am sharing a bit about few different monthly kits I have been subscribing for months. Please note that I do not get paid by the companies that are mentioned in the video, I wanted to share so that you can some info before making your own purchases.

I subscribe to two different card kits monthly. One is from Studio Calico and the other one is from Simon Says Stamp. They are both budget friendly and I get them at a different point of the month so I can try each kit with plenty of time to create various projects.

Studio Calico offers card kits, scrapbook its, and project life kits. So if you are more of a scrapbooker or a projct life mania, other options might work better for ya. I usually get it 15th of each month, they reveal new kit for the next month usually at the end of each month.

Simon Says Stamps offers monthly kits and occassional holiday card kits (Valentine’s day or Christmas). I love them because they always add inspiration sheets that crafters can refer to and for begginers to replicate easily. They reveal their new kit around 14th of each month and I get the kit for the next month usually at the end of current month.

There are couple of other kits you can check out. I just signed up for the Freckled Fawn Embellishment Kit – this is all embellishment and the contents comes in a very cute tin case.

One other kit I love is Really Reasonable Ribbon‘s Ribbon Club Assortment. And, it only costs $9!! You get all sorts of ribbons to use on your projects. If you are tight with your budget, try one card kit, embellishment kit, and a ribbon kit – you will have everything you need to create projects for one month!

Thanks for stopping by! Enjoy the video!

**VIDEO** Envelope Liner How-to Video

Hello, everyone! Sorry for being one day late – my computer was processing multiple things at the same time! Well, here is the new episode of Quick Fix Quick Tricks covering basics of our brand-new product, Envelope Liners Framelits.

– With those envelope liners, you can dress up any envelopes easy and fast. Just put a piece of DSP understand the liner and run it through the Big Shot Machine!

– My own tip: I only use half of the DSP you need for the whole liner. It saves me papers and I can get 2 liners out of 1 paper!

Enjoy the video and have a wonderful holiday weekend!

**VIDEO** Stampin’ Trimmer Rotary Addition

Happy Friday All! In today’s Quick Fix Quick Tricks video, I am sharing one of our brand-new product: Stampin’ Trimmer Rotary Addition – a wonderful product that will maximize your Stampin’ Trimmer use to the next level.

In this video, I will show you how you can change into the Rotary Addition, change between different blade cartridges, and cut using the actual tool.

Stampin’ Trimmer Rotary Addition (#129407) works differently than our regular cutting blade, it cuts by “gliding” on a paper like a pizza cutter and takes less effort on your end when cutting. So you can cut multiple papers with less force with this tool, thus less energy spent on your end!

– There are FOUR different cartridges available for you to purchase that you can use with this Rotary Addition: Straight (#129408), Small Scallop (#129410), Tiny Wave (#129409), and Perforating Blade (#132788). They are all fun to play with and you can see how I change between cartridges in the video below.

– Picture above shows you end results for each blade cartridge, so you can see exactly what you are getting when you purchase them. They are so great to cut with and very easy to change in between!

Thanks for stopping by! I hope you enjoy the video and find it helpful.

Yummy Colors! 2013-2015 In Colors Comparison

Baked Brown Suger, Coastal Cabana, Crisp Cantaloupe, Pistachio Pudding, and Strawberry Slush… All these new colors are so mouth watering… (mmmm slush.. don’t you think?)

Those yummy colors are the 2013-2015 In Colors, they are very trendy and sassy so you can wow anyone with projects using these colors. Today, I wanted to share my input on those new colors, when they are compared to our regular color families.

First Up! Baked Brown Sugar – It is one level lighter than our Soft Suede from the Neutral collection (bottom cardstock). The lighting for this picture wasn’t super great, but if you look at the bottom of the card where it meets the Soft Suede cardstock, you will notice the difference.

Next up is Coaster Cabana, compared to Pool Party from the Subtle collection. Pool party is very light and blueish while Coaster Cabana is more greenish and blueish at the same time. It is also one level darker.

Third one is Crisp Cantaloupe! Compared color is our beloved Coral Calypso, which is from the Subtles collection as well. Crisp Cantaloupe is one level lighter and softer. Colorwise they are pretty close, I would say. (One a side note – Coral Calypso would work great with our Coaster Cabana.)

I am not a big Pistachio fan (I would eat them, but won’t go out looking for them), but I am in love with our Pistachio Pudding. Compared color is Pear Pizzaz, which is a brought back color to the Subtles collection. I am not super happy with the lighting with this picture, but Pistachio Pudding is much lighter and softer. You can say that Pistachio Pudding is like a soft pastel version of Pear Pizzaz, with more white in it.

Last but not least… Strawberry Slush! This is probably my favorite name of all the new In Colors, just because I always get strawberry slush from the store. I compared it with our Primrose Petals from the 2012-2014 In Colors. Strawberry Slush is brighter and stronger in color. Melon Mambo is more intense in the color and Rose Red has more purple color compare to Strawberry Slush.

Hope my own input gave you some idea of what the colors look like! Best way to see yourself is of course buying them and playing with them with your own two hands! Best way to get more bang for your buck? Try our New In Color Kit (Cardstocks + Ink Pads!) and you can save money and enjoy all those new colors.

Let’s chat before we finish! What is your FAVORITE among these colors? Leave comments below!
