**VIDEO+GIVEAWAY** 2 Ways to Create Monochromatic Backgrounds/Focal Points

Happy Thursday! When there is a very limited time to create and make cards, I like to go for a stamp set that offers variety so I can create with just that and a few ink pads. Today’s project features a stamp set that is just that!

Let’s start with a video tutorial so you can get all the details of the process – It is just a few min. long, so you can quickly see how these cards come together.

I love using a stamp set that offers such a variety, especially when the crafting time is limited but still requires some cards to send or give. The Graphic Brushstroke stamp set is a perfect one for this type of situations.

With this type of background designs, I like to do monochromatic look so you can easily add interest and variations to your project with minimal supplies.

For the card above, I used Iceberg and Eastern Sky. I share a quick tip on how to stamp it with background stamp in the video tutorial above, so make sure to check it out.

The second card brings out more pop to it, with fun green shades! Stamped in the exact same concept as the first card, Limeade and Fresh Leaf inks were used.

These cards don’t require too much time nor supplies! So it is perfect for new stampers or busy crafters who need cards or projects quickly.

You can also create a focal point using the singular brushstroke image from the stamp set. I used Baby Pink, Fuchsia, and Magenta for the color combo.

Bold and strong focal points are sometimes all you need to make a card that speaks clearly. For a strong sentiment impression, I stamped greetings from the same Graphic Brushstrokes stamp set using the Obsidian ink.
