ALCOHOL MARKERS ALTENEW VIDEO

**VIDEO+GIVEAWAY** Quick & Simple Color Blending with Alcohol Markers

Hello there! Many of you enjoyed my latest alcohol marker coloring tutorial, so I wanted to add just one more to share an easy way to blend colors and to make alcohol marker coloring effortless, especially for those who are starting out with them.

Altenew just released a new marker set, Artist Markers Set D with 12 colors that you can use on various projects with outlined images (or stamped images).

Today’s project is so simple yet fun to do, creating a great result. I have a step-by-step video tutorial below for you to check out!

All you need to do to create today’s card is an outline stamp of your choice, and 2 color family in 3 different shades.

I used the Sea Shore and Rose Petal color families from Set D to color in today’s project, along with just a couple of green markers from the Green Field Set and Marker Set E.

To be able to use the markers without smudging black lines, you will need to use an alcohol marker friendly ink pad. I used the Permanent Black Ink to stamp all the outline images and set it to dry before coloring them in.

The beautiful images shown here are from the Sweetest Peas Stamp Set. I chose 2 images from the set and stamped 3 times on the right portion of the card panel. The sentiment is stamped to the left bottom portion of the card.

In order to blend the colors in nicely, you will need to use a flicking motion when adding colors. In the video tutorial, I show how you can easily achieve this technique. It does take a bit of practice, but once you get the hang of it, it will come to you very naturally!

And there you have it! Nicely colored images, perfect for either background or focal point.
