PRETTY PINK POSH VIDEO WATERCOLOR WPLUS9

**VIDEO** Easy Watercolor Wash Background

Hello! Today I have another watercolor card that can be easily created. If last week’s watercolor project was a bit intimidating for you, maybe you can try this one first. Watercolor wash is one of the easiest technique you can try to get a great result.

I love doing watercolor wash because of the soft result. Also, you can get different results every single time so you never know how it is going to turn out until the layer is fully dried.

Adding lots of water help to create this look. I used Peerless Watercolor Sheets for today’s project, but you can use anything you have on hand. Start with adding small amount of color and let the water do the work for ya. You can always go back and add more colors if you want more intensity.

I always like to keep my wash card simple and clean, because that way the background catches all the attention it needs. I wanted a really nice sentiment to go with the background and this set was the perfect choice! I love the font and the little bubble shape that comes in the set as well. I also added couple of sequins around to add a bit of sparkle to bring out the blue color in the background.

Black heat embossing can be tricky to use, so I recommend stamping the sentiment with a nice, juicy black pigment ink and then heat setting it with a clear embossing powder.

Don’t you think this card is perfect one to send in the beginning of the new year?
